Toasteds® Crackers topped with Brie, Cranberry Jam & Pistachio
Soft, creamy Brie accented with tangy cranberry jam - a winning combination of flavors and textures.
Ingredients
- 12 Toasteds® Classic Buttercrisp crackers
- 6 oz. brie, sliced into 12 pieces
- 3 tsp. cranberry jam
- 2 Tbsp. roasted and salted pistachios, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
Directions
1. Place crackers onto a serving board in a single layer.
2. Place one slice of brie onto each cracker.
3. Spoon ¼ tsp. of cranberry jam onto each slice of brie.
4. Garnish with a sprinkle of pistachios and mint on each cracker.
NOTE: If you can’t purchase toasted pistachios, you can toast them at home.
In the oven: Heat oven to 350 °F. Spread whole pistachios evenly onto a baking sheet and bake for about 3 minutes or until golden brown and fragrant. Cool before use.
In a skillet: Heat a small skillet over medium heat. Add the whole pistachios and stir occasionally until fragrant and golden brown, about 3 minutes. Cool before use.
OPTIONAL ENHANCEMENTS:
• Swap out the cranberry jam with cranberry chutney for some added texture.
• This recipe also pairs well with a drizzle of honey on top.
