Roasted Garlic Hummus with Basil Pesto Dip
Roasted garlic hummus zhuzhed up with basil pesto, toasted pine nuts - for a Mediterranean flair for your party.
Ingredients
- 1 box Toasted® Sea Salt & Olive Oil Flatbreads
- 10 oz. roasted garlic hummus
- 4 Tbsp. (3.5 oz.) pesto, divided
- 2 tsp. fresh basil, chopped
- 2 tsp. pine nuts, toasted
Directions
1. Arrange crackers on a serving dish, set aside.
2. Mix the hummus and 2 Tbsp. of pesto in a small bowl.
3. Transfer into the serving bowl and drizzle with the remaining 2 Tbsp. of pesto.
4. Garnish with sprinkles of basil and pine nuts.
5. Enjoy dip with crackers!
Serving size: 1/4 cup
NOTE: Pine nuts can be toasted in the oven or in a skillet.
In the oven: Heat oven to 350 °F. Spread whole pine nuts evenly onto a baking sheet and bake for about 3 minutes or until golden brown and fragrant. Cool before use.
In a skillet: Heat a small skillet over medium heat. Add the whole pine nuts and stir occasionally until fragrant and golden brown, about 3 minutes. Cool before use.
